What is Follistatin-344?
Follistatin-344 (FS-344) is a naturally occurring regulatory protein produced by the human body. Its
primary biological role is to bind to and inhibit myostatin, a protein that normally limits muscle
growth.
When myostatin is blocked, the "brake" on muscle development is reduced, allowing muscles to grow
beyond typical genetic limits.
Follistatin-344 (1 Mg)
- Directly binds to myostatin, preventing it from activating muscle-growth suppression pathways
- Promotes muscle fiber hypertrophy (increase in muscle size)
- Also interacts with activins and TGF-ß family proteins, which are involved in growth regulation, tissue repair, and metabolism
Net effect: a biological environment that favors increased muscle growth and recovery.
- Increased muscle mass due to reduced myostatin activity
- Improved muscle recovery and regeneration
- Investigated in research related to muscle-wasting diseases (e.g., muscular dystrophy,.cachexia)
