HCG is a hormone that mimics Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in the body. It is naturally produced during pregnancy, but in males it is used to stimulate the testes.
HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)
In men, HCG works by stimulating the Leydig cells in the testes.
👉 Result:
* Increases natural testosterone production * Helps maintain testicular size and function * Supports overall hormonal balance when natural LH is suppressed
Normally:
* The brain (pituitary gland) releases LH * LH signals the testes → produce testosterone
When using HCG:
* HCG replaces LH * It directly stimulates the testes without needing brain signaling
👉 So: HCG = external LH signal
HCG is commonly used for:
1. Maintaining Testosterone Production
* Prevents shutdown during suppression * Keeps testosterone levels more stable
2. Preventing Testicular Atrophy
* Keeps testes active and functioning
3. Hormonal Recovery Support
* Helps restart natural function after suppression
* Natural LH → comes from the brain * HCG → comes externally but does the same job
⚠️ Important: HCG does NOT stimulate the brain to recover It only stimulates the testes directly
* HCG → acts like LH → testosterone only * HMG → LH + FSH → testosterone + sperm production
👉 That’s why:
* HCG = basic support * HMG = advanced (fertility focused)
* HCG mimics LH hormone * Stimulates testosterone production * Keeps testes active during suppression * Does NOT fully restore natural hormone system alone
